Upland Bird Hunting in East Texas
Hawkeye offers a plantation style upland bird hunt in northeast Texas.
All bird hunters are accompanied by an expert Hawkeye guide, with a preferred 2:1 hunter to guide ratio. Our guides understand the terrain and how best to use the shooting lanes to create a successful hunting experience. All guests are required to watch a brief safety video before their first winged hunt; this ensures a safe hunt for all parties involved, a priority at Hawkeye.
Whitetail Deer Hunting in East Texas
Guests hunt whitetail deer from one of nine blinds situated along the pine trees. Feeders and food plots are maintained to enhance herd development. Our blinds fit two comfortably so guests can choose to hunt with a guide, a friend or alone. Deer hunts are limited to our overnight guests.
Our Dogs
The Hawkeye kennel contains roughly 40 pointers and setters who are all trained by the in-house dog trainer to both point & retrieve. You can hunt with Hawkeye’s hunting dogs or you may bring your own personal hunting dog.
For your convenience hunting licenses and tags may be obtained at the Hawkeye Office. Shotguns and rifles are available for guests’ use for a nominal charge should you choose not to bring your personal favorite. Ammunition may be purchased on site.
