Guided Plantation Style Hunting
Hawkeye offers a plantation style hunting experience in the Piney Woods of East Texas. As part of a mixed bird hunt, Hawkeye places two (2) chukars, two (2) pheasant and twenty (20) quail per hunter in the hunting fields to add to our propagated quail population, which provides an experience that feels very close to a wild bird hunt. Large covey flushes are common as hunters are treated to fast-paced shooting over some of the finest pointers and flushing dogs anywhere. And, with no bird limits, your bag can be as full as your marksmanship will allow!
Bird hunting at Hawkeye takes place from October through March. Let us help you plan a day hunt, or better yet, plan an overnight group trip where you and your friends and colleagues can come hunt, shoot clays, fish and relax while doing different types of activities.
