Our Bird Hunting Dogs
Hawkeye’s bird dogs are a diverse mixture of pointers, setters, flushers, and retrievers who are all trained on-site by our in-house dog trainer. We are proud to offer such a wide variety of breeds for you to enjoy and our guides are always happy to share information about the strengths and training of each individual breed as you watch them work. Our dogs are housed in an expansive, state-of-the-art facility that allows for playing room and comfort. They have all graduated our training program and receive year-round training tune-ups so each dog can perform at their full potential all season long.
Guests are welcome to bring their personal hunting dog and we are happy to provide boarding in our kennel facility. Any dogs staying in lodges with guests must be kenneled at all times We ask that unless your dog is properly trained as a bird-hunting dog, you leave him/her at home.
